GENERAL DESCRIPTION


V-TYPE ANTENNAS - ANV SERIES

photo RFS Radio Frequency Systems ANV Series This broadband series of antenna is designed for medium to long range transmission or receiving applications.

Polarization is horizontal and characterised by an increase in gain and directivity when operated within the higher frequency band.


The antenna comprises two sloping wires resistively terminated and forming an open vee configuration.

Radiation elevation characteristics vary with the frequency, the higher the frequency the lower the angle of radiation.

This characteristic enables short to medium range coverage to be established using frequencies less than 6 MHz and long distance links utilising the higer frequency band.
